Abstract

This paper propose a case study of one of the representative entities of the social economy, a particular case of the fishing cooperative: "Sociedad Cooperativa Ampliación el Arenal", belonging to the rural area of Acapulco Gro., approached from a diagnosis to understand its organizational development, the current state of its administrative management based on the review of its administrative process, among the different methodological tools that were applied, the use of the IBASE social balance and Cooperative social balance was used for an internal analysis and to determine the cooperative values and principles by which the organization is governed. Based on the results, initiatives are proposed that encourage the organization to remain as an efficient employment-generating alternative that emits social and economic value.
