Abstract
In order to determine nursing interventions to prevent pressure ulcers in patients with head trauma in the transoperative of a private hospital, this descriptive, observational and cross-sectional study was conducted, taking as a population shows 15 nurses in the operating room area, who were found working in any of the morning, afternoon
and/or night shifts. Using 3 instruments, the techniques used were observational, with a checklist; risk analysis using Braden's scale as instruments to assess the level of risk to develop UPP in patients at the transoperative period; a questionnaire to assess the care and knowledge of nursing personnel through an evidence-based
questionnaire and recommendations from the Health Secretary's Clinical Practice Guide for the Prevention and Treatment of Pressure Ulcers at the Hospital Level; 2009. The S.P.S.S.
