Propuesta de estrategias de restauración ecológica de manglares con participación comunitaria, en la localidad El Carrizal, Guerrero.

Abstract

The thesis focuses on the collaborative development of proposals for the restoration and ecological conservation of mangroves in the locality of El Carrizal, Guerrero State. In this area, human activities such as deforestation, agriculture, forest fires, and improper solid waste management have led to the loss and deterioration of these strategic ecosystems. To achieve the stated objectives, a qualitative methodology was employed, specifically the participatory action research method, involving the community in all stages of the process. Firstly, the identification of the interaction between mangroves and human activities was carried out as a pre-diagnosis of the problem. Secondly, participatory spaces for knowledge exchange and environmental education were organized in the locality through workshops and community meetings. Lastly, strategies for mangrove ecological restoration were co-constructed with the community, establishing an action plan to effectively address the issue.
