Abstract
The presence of polymorphisms in regulatory regions causes increased expression of dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR), and it is associated with methotrexate (MTX) treatment adverse events. A case control study was conducted on 70 children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and 140 children without disease.
