Análisis de la expresión de pRb en células transfectadas con E7 de VPH 16 prototipo y sus variantes E7-A712, E7-G647/C789/G795 y E7-C732/C789/G795.
Resumen
HPV 16 is the pathogen most associated with cervical cancer, a disease in which the overexpression of the viral oncoprotein E7 plays an essential role because its main targets are proteins involved in the regulation of the cell cycle, causing cell transformation. Mutations in the E7 gene are known to be related to cervical carcinogenesis. Recent data from our working group report that the E7-C732/C789/G795 variant presents a high frequency in cervical cancer samples, in the same way, it was observed that this variant and the E7-prototype increased the Oct4A mRNA expression levels. Currently, the effect that the variants reported in the Guerrero population have on the expression level of the pRb messenger is unknown, therefore, the objective of this project was to analyze the influence of these variants on the expression of pRb mRNA.
