| dc.description.abstract | Objective: To evaluate the association of the physical state of DNA and types of high risk human papillomavirus (HR-HPV) with the expression of cyclins A, D1 and E in cytologies with the diagnosis of low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (LSIL). Methods/Materials: 115 cytological specimens in liquid base (liquidPREP TM) were analyzed. 25 specimens were with no signs of SIL or HPV (NSIL without HPV); 30, with no signs of SIL (NSIL) but with low risk HPV (NSIL with LRHPV); 30, with no signs of SIL but with HR-HPV (NSIL with HR-HPV); and 30, with both LSIL and HR-HPV | |
