miR-24-3p y miR-142-3p: Expresión en pacientes con patología gástrica y relación con PKC en macrófagos humanos infectados por Helicobacter pylori.

Abstract

H. pylori is the main cause of chronic gastritis and gastric cancer. In response to H. pylori, monocytes and macrophages are accumulate in the gastric mucosa, however, the bacteria is resistant to death by these cells. H. pylori promotes the expression of miRNAs that participate in the post-transcriptional regulation of genes with key functions in proliferation, apoptosis and inflammation processes. Objective: To evaluate the expression of miR-24-3p and miR-142-3p in patients with gastric pathologies and their relationship with PKC¿ expression in human macrophages infected with virulent and avirulent genotype of H. pylori.
