Abstract
Hyperphagia is a classic manifestation in diabetes mellitus (DM), although there are first-line drugs that improve various symptoms of the disease, there is currently no medication capable of controlling hyperphagic behavior. It has been proposed that resveratrol could improve changes in eating behavior through its action in the central nervous system by modifying the expression of key proteins in the regulation of appetite such as ghrelin receptor (GHSR-1a).
