Desplazamiento forzado intraurbano por violencia delincuencial en Acapulco, Guerrero.

Abstract

The context of generalized violence modify population dynamics forcing it, in many cases, to leave their homes and livelihoods. Internal displacement is one of the major consequences of violence and conflicts. The aim of this research is to desing a survey for characterise to the population displaced by situations of violence in Acapulco, Guerrero. This survey was built taking as basis of the Encuesta Nacional de Caracterización a la Población Desplazada developed by Red de Solidaridad Social, Pastoral Social and Codhes; the annex 5: Formato único de declaración para la solicitud de inscripción en el registro único de víctimas, from Colombia; and the survey of Comisión Mexicana de Defensa y Promoción de Derechos humanos (CMDPDH). Through descriptive analysis, argue that, in urban areas with high levels of violence as in Acapulco, internal forced displacement happens to silently and individually, without any efforts from goverments to protect and guarantee the rights of victims.
