dc.description.abstractThe ecosystem services provided by coastal zones have been severely affected by anthropogenic activities. The purpose of this study was to determine both the perception of residents of a coastal town on their environmental issues; as well as the empirical Knowledge that they have developed over the years, with which environmental education strategies can be established for the sustainable use of their natural resources.
