| dc.description.abstract | Sexual violence is, and has been, a pervasive social problem that affects the lives of all individuals across various dimensions. Understanding and addressing violence, particularly sexual violence, is a critical issue in today's society. This form of violence not only has devastating consequences for individual victims but also presents a significant challenge to institutions and societies as a whole. This research, with practical implications, aims to provide decision-makers with information to improve elements that impact the institutional capacity of the SEPAVI program, thereby contributing to the reparative process for victims/survivors of sexual violence. This thesis provides a historical overview of institutional capacity and its methodological foundation, reviews the social context of sexual violence, highlights normative advances in its combat, and examines the local context in the state of Guerrero. Through a comparative perspective across three municipalities¿Acapulco, Chilpancingo, and Iguala, Guerrero¿this study analyzes the institutional capacity of the SEPAVI program, structured across five chapters. | |
