Plan de manejo silvícola para captura de carbono en la microcuenca del río Hueyapa, Guerrero, México.

Abstract

In this research, a diagnosis was made of the conditions kept by the temperate forest of the Hueyapa river microwatershed, Guerrero, Mexico to propose a silvicultural management plan that allows to enhance the carbon capture rate in its biomass. The Morphometric analysis and change of land use and vegetation was carried out using a Geographic Information System (GIS), satellite images manipulated with ArcGis 10.3 and ENVI 5.3. It has an area of 74.88 km2 , oblong rectangular shape, very hilly and heavily rugged, 25% of its vegetation cover has been modified by agricultural activities and of urbanization.
